Effective date: 1 January 2025. Last updated: 1 January 2025.Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the CVEZ website and service. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. About the Service
CVEZ provides an online resume tailoring service that rewrites and reformats your existing resume to better align with a specific job listing you provide. The service is operated from Australia and is available to users across Australia and internationally.
CVEZ is not a recruitment agency and does not guarantee employment outcomes. We provide a document preparation service only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. By using CVEZ you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of any resume or document content you upload. By submitting your content you grant CVEZ a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and rewrite that content for the sole purpose of delivering your order. We do not use your personal resume data for any other purpose.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information in your resume is truthful and accurate. CVEZ rewrites the language and structure of your resume but does not verify the factual accuracy of the content you provide.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use this service to:
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Use automated tools, bots or scripts to abuse the service
- Resell or redistribute the output of the service without our written consent
- Violate any applicable Australian law or regulation
5. Payment
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. You must provide valid payment details at the time of purchase. Charges are applied immediately upon completing your order.
6. Delivery
Your tailored resume is made available for download immediately after successful payment. It is your responsibility to download the file at the time of purchase. CVEZ does not store your completed resume after your session ends.
7. Intellectual Property
The CVEZ brand, website design, and underlying technology are the property of CVEZ and are protected by Australian intellectual property law. The tailored resume document delivered to you is yours to use freely for personal job application purposes.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" basis. CVEZ makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the tailored resume will result in employment. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including any non-excludable guarantees.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, CVEZ's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order that gave rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Privacy Policy

Short version: We collect only what we need to deliver your resume. We do not sell your data. Your resume content is processed to complete your order and is not stored after your session.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Resume content - the file or text you upload to use the service
- Job listing content - the job description or URL you provide
- Payment information - processed entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number, expiry date or CVV
- Contact information - your name and email address if you contact us or submit a support request
- Usage data - standard web analytics including pages visited, browser type, device type, and general location (country or state level only)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver the resume tailoring service you have paid for
- Process and verify your payment
- Respond to your support enquiries
- Improve the performance and reliability of our service
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your resume content for marketing purposes, profiling, or any purpose other than fulfilling your order.
3. Data Retention
Your resume content and the tailored output are not stored on our servers after your session ends. Please download your completed resume at the time of purchase. Payment transaction records are retained by Stripe in accordance with their own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our platform:
- Stripe - payment processing. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant and their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/au/privacy
- Anthropic - the technology that powers our resume rewriting. Resume content is transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate the tailored output. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy
- Google Fonts - used to load fonts on this website. No personal data is shared with Google through this service
5. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. We may disclose your information where required by law, court order, or government authority, or where necessary to protect the rights and safety of CVEZ or others.
6. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect any personal information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. All data transmission between your browser and our service is encrypted using HTTPS. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never transmitted to or stored by CVEZ.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We may use cookies or similar technologies to support basic website functionality. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or build advertising profiles.
8. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act you have the right to:
- Request access to any personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information
- Complain about how we have handled your personal information

Refund Policy
Effective date: 1 January 2025. Last updated: 1 January 2025.We want you to be happy with your tailored resume. Please read this policy carefully so you understand when refunds apply.
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in this refund policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including your right to a remedy for a failure that is a major failure or is not of acceptable quality.
1. Nature of the Service
CVEZ provides a digital document service. Once your tailored resume has been generated and made available for download, the service has been delivered in full. Because the output is a digital document that is immediately accessible after payment, we are unable to offer refunds based solely on a change of mind.
2. When You Are Entitled to a Refund
You are entitled to a full refund in the following circumstances:
- The service failed to generate a tailored resume due to a technical error on our end
- Your resume content was not used in the output and the result bears no relevance to your uploaded document
- You were charged but the download was not made available to you
- There was a duplicate or accidental charge on your account
3. When Refunds Do Not Apply
Refunds will generally not be issued in the following situations:
- You are dissatisfied with the quality or style of the rewritten resume but it was successfully generated and delivered
- You provided an incorrect or incomplete resume file
- You provided a job listing that was unclear or incomplete
- You changed your mind after the resume was generated and made available
- You found alternative employment or decided not to apply for the role
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please use the Contact Us form within 7 days of your purchase, selecting "Refund request" as the subject and including your order details and reason for the request. We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
5. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may contact your card provider to raise a dispute, or seek assistance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au.
